Male Revue (NYC)
Part of the original Hunkmania. This revue has entertained our
lovelies many a night. Our overall concensus over the years has
been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. The new Hunk spin
off started with a strong Hunk turn out complete with mini opening
and lively cast. The Male Revue has changed locations recently.
In the old space, Float, we had some great nights more so than
the not so great. The not so great happened when we were told
our general admission tickets allowed us to peer over a balcony
on the second floor. The only way to sit on the main floor was
to upgrade to VIP (double the price). We could hardly see the
show through the balcony bars. The Hunks were great we guess,
they never came upstairs to the eighty or so stranded upset women.
Occasionally a massage guy would wander up
and demand $20 for a five minute neck rub...

The Male Strip Show
(Febuary 14th )
Located inside the legendary Element nightclub on Houston and Essex Street. Our review staffs latest review was short of a total walk out disaster. The
show started slowly the emcee spoke softly and mono-tone. There
were only about fifty patrons in this chilly tomb like setting.
Unlike past rollercoaster like experiences, this one was a sheer
nose dive. An overly hands on Latin and Black flavor has become
a standard. The diversity we expected from past encounters has
disappeared. The modelesque strippers have been replaced by rough
around the edges types that put the F in filthy. Some of the male
strippers performances were so amature, we felt like we were at
a beach bar strip off contest instead of a professional Male Revue.
The only perk to this show was our abiltiy to stay afterward in
Avalon New York strip club, which turned out to be not such a treat. By
the time the show ended a lot of the girls had already left. The
remaining skeleton crew were scattered about the empty nightclub.
By the time the people started to enter we were ready to leave.
The scene was 95 percent gay men with little or no diversity.

Hunk-o-mania
seems to be using the names Manhattan Men and USAHUNKS to trick bachelorette parties into thinking they are coming to a different show. It is all the same. Buyer Beware.

- Overheard as we exited the club were comments such as "this
was the best girls nite out my friends and I have ever had in
forever. The men are hot, and also surprisingly nice."

TIMES SQUARE HUNKS
Times Square Hunks - also trying to market themselves as "Forbidden Nights
Male Revue" at Show Nightclub...is
an interesting display of eccentric earthly talent. The Time Square
Hunks seem to be just that, "SQUARE HUNKS". There is very
little diversity among the male strippers and none of the so called
"Playgirl" models they claim to have on their website were there. Mainly a white trailer
trash male revue with a slight latino presence. Performances were
reminiscent of a back woods VFW hall. The dancers were the worst
performers we have ever seen and many of the costumes were Mish
Moshe. Our review staff ladies were literally attacked by overly
aggressive and non-relenting male strippers. The bachelorettes we
interviewed at the show were a bit surprised with the new male revue
at Show nightclub. One woman thought their bachelorette party made a
wrong turn. Time

Time Square Hunks replaces Mantasia at Show night club for the
2006 season but all the glamour and glitz left with them too.
The Male Strip Shows
( Saturday Febuary 24th )
Time
Square Hunks show at Show night

of gangster wanna-bes were let in by the droves.

Word from the bartender is that the show is simply
a diversionary tactic to try and lure women back into the club.
There has been a drastic fall off in attendance at the nightclub
due to a weak door policy and a rash of on going violence which
included several shootings.

Toted as an International Cover model Male Revue. This lively, witty and eclectic Male Revue has taken our critics by surprise.
We wondered just how valid their claims to having International Cover Models were. To our surprise , 100% for real!
Male Strip Clubs & Male Strip Shows
( Saturday)
Our
first experience was at Pangea, a model haven with an upscale
African Safari appeal, which fit right in tune with the Savage
Men motif. Real model greeters decked out in savage animal skins
and face paint escorted us in, yum. To our surprise their advertising
as to having real models was true. Our party members recognized
several performers from famous ads. Armani, Hero and Nike.
The music was hot and the performers hotter. Emcee Steve was incredible
and comically delicious. The acts were sexy and in good taste.
A reinactmant from the Matrix movie left us damp. The black patent
leather and multi-cast act was the cherry on pie. Updated Febuary 27
The Savage Men have an additional show now at BLVD Night club
located on 199 Bowery Street cross is Spring Street. This is
in addition to the two other shows currently running at 9pm and
11pm at Lucky Chengs.
Temple Night club, formerly known as BLVD Night club seems to
have been the ultimate Male Revue location in New York City.
To our surprise, BLVD is truly a masterpiece. This multi-level
work of art is New York City's gem of night clubs and the absolutely
perfect location for a Male Revue. If you have never been there,
we highly recommend the trip, if not to see the Male Revue, but
to just experience the 10 million the owners put into designing
the interior. Breath taking.
Our reporters were a little skeptical if the Savage Men could
maintain the quality of their Male Revue while performing not
only three shows in New York City every Friday and Saturday but
also Atlantic City and Florida. The same review staff was sent
to the Temple Night club Male Revue to determine consistency.
Our staff was greeted by a comical John Travolta impersonator
then escorted to their seats by several sexy hosts. The vibe was
lively and enticing. Pre-show massages and a comical emcee started
this Male Revue out on the right foot. The show was just as incredible
as before. A few new added faces and new updated steamy acts with
live singers and multiple dancer performances propelles this New
York City Male Revue into possibly being New Yorks premier Male Revue. Temple Night club's sound, lighting and effects systems
add a true Broadway style appeal to this already sensational cast
of gorgeous heart throbs

Dinner and Show
Dinner and show at Lucky Chengs.Two show times to be
exact. Savage Men have done it again, combining one of New York
City's top drag queen themed restaurants with their Male Revue.
Top drag performers add spice to the show decked in flamboyant
sassy costumes. The Pan-Asian cuisine was impeccable. Chengs is
also known as a celebrity hangout, in fact our girls spotted Kelly
Ripa and hubby only a few tables away. The model massage hunks
rubbed our inhibitions away. The show was sold out and for good
reason. Hunks everywhere. The show was amazingly fun and entertaining.
Gossip
The
grapevine tells us that the models are recruited by their own.
Since models travel the world by season, it may be the hunk you
see now may be in Spain or Miami next time you visit, but replaced
by an equally delectable piece of eye candy.
Savage Men also has Male Strip shows Atlantic City, NJ and at the Hard
Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

All-American-Male New York Male Stripper Revue
American Male's Male Revue (NYC)
The new kid on the block as Male Revues go. We were eager to
put their overly boisterous advertising to the test. Our girls
have frequented many a revue and always seem to come back with
the same results. They seem to outbid all the other revues on
the search engines to be in first place as pay per clicks go.
This does not mean they are #1 only that they pay more than
the other revues in advertising.
The Show
( Saturday Febuary 24th )
Our
combined reviews (6) have resulted in similar experiences. The
first time was the best of the six, but this was some time ago.
The revue never seemed to be of the caliber described in their
advertising. The American Male receptionist made this show sound
like it was the best thing since sliced bread. Besides their extreme
pushiness to purchase bridal packages and VIP tickets, they were
also a little vague on the amount of male strippers that were
performing. The show was held at a Avalon Night club. Though the
room was half full, a majority of the women were forced to stand
on the right side of the stage near the bar for the main floor
only capacitated about 80. Every time the show started 30-60 minutes
late. The stage is small and obstructed and there is no other
mood lighting except one spotlight which blinds the stage. The
massage men were a bit quirky and awkward. We waited for the large
American Males to run up to the stage and say "Here we are."
but that never happened. As one mediocre stripper performed, another
strolled in late, walking down the center isle with bag and costume
in hand. So much for the element of surprise.
The model type dancers on the web site were not there (except
one) instead the featured performer was the doorman, host and
emcee. It became literally a one man show. Unfortunately that
was not the type of show we came to see.
Gossip
All American Male is said to be combining their
show with Hunk-o-mania due to lack luster sales and its inability
to secure quality male strippers. Both Male Revues send their
patrons to the same location. The catch is, All American Male's
ticket prices are cheaper then Hunk-o-Mania's. Why pay more if
you don't have to. Needless to say shit is still shit.

The Show
(Thursday January )
Men,
men, men and lots of them. Six to
be exact. They will tease you and please you all night long. The
space is a bit earthy but seems to add flava to the otherwise
sporty establishment. The stage area is well lit and boasts an
adequate sound system. With large crowds of overly zealous horney
women Billy Deans has become the talk of Eastern Long Island.
As of late, this revue has kept a small tight cast so unless you
consider yourself a groupie or have fallen head over heals, it
tends to repeat.

We have been told that there are favorites amongst
the litter and that is the reason for the same group every week.
